Hello, My Name is Marty!

Hello everyone! I'm Marty Jacobs. I've been obsessed with magic since I was a thirteen-year-old kid. I got my start in magic by messing around with those classic Marvin's Magic kits back in the early 90s. Who else remembers those?!

Close-up card magic is my jam, but I have a deep appreciation for all types of magic. My favourite magicians include legends like Dai Vernon, Ed Marlo and Alex Elmsley. I also love Daryl, David Wiliamson, Peter Duffie, John Bannon and Cameron Francis. And let's not forget Doug Conn–he ain't half bad either!

Outside of practicing sleights, I run a blog called Marty's Bag of Tricks for fellow amateur magicians and magic enthusiasts, and I also have an email newsletter called Marty's Magic Ruseletter. If you're looking for tips, tricks, or just want to chat about the wonderful world of magic, hit me up!
