Howdy all, I’m Charles Luken. I practiced magic when I was around 15, 16 because my grandparents bought me a magic book that I got involved in for about a week. Since then I’ve picked it up a few times here and there.

A year after getting married I got into magic again to amaze our children. I’ve now been practicing about three or four months and really want to get serious about learning magic. The reactions I get from my wife and children urge me to get better and continuously seek more complex tricks, better handling, and better presentation of said tricks.

Eventually, I would like to move to street performances and busking, and maybe even perform in a large theater or the like.

Inspirations that keep me wanting to do magic would be Mac King, Paul Daniels, Jeremy Tan, Jason Maher, and obviously Doug Conn. I love how they all present their magic in different ways and am doing my best to learn from all of them.
