Professional Rope Routines with Doug Conn📅 Date: Saturday, Nov 23rd

My very first street show kicked off with a rope trick—the classic Professor's Nightmare. Ever since, I've been hooked on rope magic, constantly learning and tweaking new routines. I've used many of these in my professional career, and in this session, I'll be sharing the ones I feel are most valuable for your shows and performances.
We'll dive into:
Types of Rope and Preparation
Awesome Rope Knots
Stretchy Rope Tricks
Ring-on-Rope Magic
Linking Ropes Together
And my handling of the Sandsational Rope Routine that I use all the time! This will be a performance/reference session. I won't be doing detailed explanations but will give an overview of the material and point you towards LSOH Lessons as well as books and videos from the master magicians I've learned from. Spoiler: I'm filming new rope tutorials this month that will be published in conjunction with this webinar.
Regarding the Cut and Restored rope trick—I'll touch on it briefly, but if you're interested (and you should be, it's one of the best magic tricks ever), we're hosting a special Deep Dive Session during our November Members Showcase with the fantastically fun Bob Possible on November 27th at 7pm EST. So, mark your calendars and let's learn the ropes this November at LearnSleightofHand.com!
Note: These sessions are recorded and available for our members to review in the LSOH Webinar Archive. But attending the live session has its perks! In addition to being able to ask questions during the webinar, we open the doors 15 minutes early for some preshow chat, and we always stay a few minutes late in the 'green room' for Q&A and camaraderie.
