which is one reason I joined LSOH. Greetings from Southern VA. In the 80’s I frequented The Phila Magic Company, in the 90’s, Al’s Magic Shop, Denny and Lee, and Barry’s Magic Shop. I really miss those good old days. I bought so many books and videos that I just got overwhelmed with what and how to perform, although I did learn a lot. I think I got lost in the mindset that the more SOH that was included in a trick, the better it was, and put tricks like Hot Rod in the junk drawer. Now I’m taking those time-tested classics back out instead of having to worry about performance angles or if my deck is set up. So much less stress that way. LOL

Hello BamBam:

I used to live in Philly, up until 1990. I went to the Phila Magic Company several times, as my interest in magic came back in my late 20s. I was there in Plilly in some of the "old days" in the 1970s (yeah, I'm that old, and originally started magic at a young age). I now live North of Boston, near Salem MA.
